How on earth is it already July?! Not only that, but the 9th?! Is this some sort of sick JOKE?! I am constantly stunned by how quickly the days whizz by, might as well start counting down to Christmas now cos it’s gonna be here before we know it!
Anyway, I hope you had a good June. I certainly did! I feel like it was an iffy start but a good finish and I’m definitely starting to feel better about things. I thought I would share some of the posts that helped me with this and some posts that I really enjoyed reading in June.
The Blissful Mind is one of my favourite blogs and I like every single post Catherine writes. This post focuses on being present and enjoying the moment. This resonated with me on a personal level. I feel like I do a lot of these things already (hands up fellow flower lovers! Can’t walk past without whipping my phone out for a pic) but it was also a lovely and gentle reminder to enjoy the little moments of every day life.
I really enjoyed this post by Lauren (tbh again, I like all her posts!) and there were a lot of things I could really relate to like the importance of happiness at work, looking after yourself by eating well and reflecting on your younger self to see how far you’ve come. In fact, I’ve been inspired by #7 to do a mid-year review so watch this space for a little catch up on my goals and year so far.
I love me a spa day and it doesn’t matter if it’s a full on luxury day out or an at home pamper session. Jodie (who is lovely BTW I met her at the Blogosphere Pamper Evening) goes through a gorgeous selection of spa-y style home skincare picks and a mini review of each. Lush!
Chloe seems to hit the nail on the head with every post she writes. If you are a girl that gets fed up with expectations and social ‘rules’ about nipples and boobies, this is he post for you. Honestly, just go read it.
This is for all my bloggers who struggle with content ideas! We’ve all been there and sometimes you end up completely stuck and your brain is just like ‘not today, mate’.
YOU NEED THIS POST! I love it so much I have bookmarked it! Thank you Soph for such an enormous amount of ideas!
Yet another amazingly frank post from Sophie. This time, it’s about blogging and the constant uproars on Twitter about Instagram and sponsored posts and everything else about blogging that people get upset about (which is a lot of things, basically). I think this is why I keep ducking in and out of blogging myself to be honest, because I’m so worried about upsetting people or doing the wrong thing BECAUSE I’M JUST NOT SURE WHAT IS RIGHT ANYMORE. But I feel a lot better after reading Sophie’s post and if you are a blogger, I suggest you go read it right now. I promise you it’s 100% worth it.
Tell me what posts you enjoyed last month, I’m always looking for new blogs to read with incredible women behind them 🙂
